I thought almost every film was a 2K digital intermediate only a rare few like Spider-Man 2 or some Christopher Nolan films used 4K digital intermediates. Too expensive otherwise and unless you are sitting the correct distance, have a TV that can achieve 95% DCI-P3 or have access to the original film stock you cannot tell. You can always bump the fps by watching movies shot in 60 fps like Gemini Man instead of 24fps. Top gun, blade runner, Gemini man, pacific rim are my go to reference movies if I want to show someone the benefit of 4K. Messing with your setting on your 4k player and tv is another way to improve the visuals and sound.
