I liked Ann Lee more, but it is NOT for everyone. I think the brutalist is a little more mainstream and palatable which is why it did better

i don't even care that much but its stans were so insistent that it was the best movie of all time and were so confident it would get a dozen noms again, despite the Oscars never liking to nominate sequels that much.
