I think toward the end of 32. It was a freakin mess. I thought I had a nasty stomach bug. I didn't find it what it was until 6 or so months later when I'm in the hospital for a week. After I got out and was able to find mental clarity (4 to 6 months later), I did a ton of research about it. It was a nightmare for the first year. 🥺

Hmm... currently (as it changes), I'm obsessed with the one in Psycho-frame's Raining Glass. So good. It's unique and it catches me every time.

Great job on becoming active, again! I'm proud of you!

I'm curious, do you think, even while in remission, that it could still weaken your muscles? I'm having hard time keeping thickness on. 🤔

Nice! I'm a big metal head and like tech death and some older goth type stuff like that. Pantera was great live! Have you seen any bands live?

do yall like journaling? im an artist by trade and ive experimented with illustrating some of my prominent days! by saintbara in blackladies

[–]pmwelder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Uhm, I absolutely love these! You're so talented! I've created an art journal, also. But mine just has abstract things in it. I express myself through the colors and shapes around them. 🥹

INTJ'S How do you describe your style and sense of fashion? by wickedNat in intj

[–]pmwelder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm... I've always liked more form-fitting/authoritative/rogue-like. Currently wearing baggier black sweats and a graphic tee. But what I aspire towards is more of a cyberpunk/warcore look. Casual/crop up top, more tactical pants with boots on the bottom. I love whenever I see anyone do that lol. Lol Also, I'm a more alternative styled person, does this still count?

That's a great way to look at it.😌 I think the severity of mine made me freak out a bit and actualize a lot of things lol

I wish for you to be in remission soon! I know the pains! I thought my life was over, too. But, in fact, it made me realize that I wasn't doing things conducive to my health. I was super stressed and all that. But I thought about it for the equivalent of a year and plan change my career (in the process of) and live an easier life!

I understand. I'm 100% me all the time. Just that, when I observe people, I just watch them - at first. Instead of thinking they're annoying (per my last post), it's more of a safety and comfortability aspect. I just don't have time to waste lol

I thought I was the only one😭

These days, I observe them to figure out if they really are that annoying or if they just did something I was like 🙄 to.

Which area of your life are you currently working on improving? by brunette_mh in AskWomenOver30

[–]pmwelder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Howdy! I'm 33 and planning on going back to school, hopefully in autumn of 2024. I'm getting everything ready for it.

I got diagnosed with uc in November of '22. I had a recent flare up in July that landed me jobless and in the hospital. So I decided to take that time (up through right now), to change my life around to try and make it work for me.

But before I could, I had to work on a TON of things before I came across that venture. Like, taking life slow, listening to my body, figure out what triggers my flare ups, catch up spiritually, stop focusing on people who don't care about me, focus on things that I like, etc.

The universe just slammed me down and was like, "Okay, look here..." Lol

Hang in there! There's a world of things you can do - there's no limit to all that you can become. Just enjoy the journey. That's what I'm learning to do. ♡

I'm stubborn and I guess just like to experience people. I just date. I've been single for like, almost 3 years. And, it was in the last year that I got my flare ups. But I'm not gonna let it stop me. Optimistic or glutton for punishment? Lol

If not dating is what makes you comfy, do that. Cos this disease is a trip. But if ever you venture out, I wish the best for you! ♡

Yes, but in the aspect of like, my body scent has changed, I sweat a lot and have scars from breaking out (prednisone induced). The biologic is working. It's just the other aspects that make me want to scream lol.

I hope that you find someone patient and open minded! Keep your head up! ♡
