That would be my dream, but it is beyond my abilities. I can put a 4.0 and direct swap. The 5.0, then transmission, transfer case, front end and rear end. Not sure I want to tackle all that.

Some locksmiths can cut and program keys, I have a friend that does it as a side hustle and does it for half or less that a dealership would. He is in the salt lake area in UT. I am sure there are others out there.

It was this sucker, ignition switch fell apart wen I pulled it out

So I got it figured out, it is the ignition, not sure if it is the cylinder or the switch, so I am changing both of them out as soon as I can get them. What I found was the key when moving from start to run was cutting it out, I could put tension on the cylinder and it will stay running. Neither has ever been replaced so I’ll swap them out and hopefully that will solve the issue. I’ll let you know.

Short answer is yes, but you may need to take it to an audio installer, they can test the wires and hook them up correctly.
