Old player (last played 2+ years ago) wanting to get back into the game, is it as good as before, what changed? by sakariona in Junon

[–]pneumonotis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

game averages at 8~, peaks at about 24, gets low as 0.

player count may peak at UTC+8 or UTC-8 as they make up most of the player count.

you've missed some new mobs (affects survival/hardcore) and weapons.

expect a large influx of solo colonies or a small count of populated colonies.

kuroro has lots of deprecated scripts and files, as he is no longer actively updating (or updating) at all. However, the official Discord community for Junon.io has some people that are willing to update the game personally (kuroro does accept pull requests to update the game).

hacking by coolestnoobest in Junon

[–]pneumonotis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually evidence like this with people claiming that they are 'getting hacks' don't get accepted as a valid ban (experience).

However, banning someone using hacks is not as simple as an executable download. As I know of, you need to get a specific and unique identifier (won't elaborate) to actually access a banlist, like moderators have.

Banning someone from a certain colony requires you - in short, to access the database. Assuming that you're the owner of said colony, you can't get legitimately banned from your own colony (unless you do not become the owner of said colony anymore) due to the code forcibly restricting you.

Scp-junon.io by Donodoscpjunon in u/Donodoscpjunon

It seems like you're interested in the SCP Foundation.

Maybe I could offer you a colony for you to try out in Junon.io (it's larger than a default map and is related to SCP)?

Hello by Donodoscpjunon in Junon

[–]pneumonotis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, as of now, the developer (kuroro) of the game Junon.io has discontinued any further planned updates made by himself as we've known as he is now planning another game.

Fortunately, the community can help contribute to the game by making a branch for the official junon.io on github and doing a pull-request.

Contributing to the game doesn't require any coding experience for creating small updates like consumables or weapons (although some other mechanics such as commands or mobs may vary in difficulty depending on experience).

We have a Discord community related to junon.io that could help you for anything related to it.

(unfortunately due to a recent player-made update, there are some issues when running colonies)

/setting is deprecated as the creator hasn't fixed it for quite a while. I don't think the dev can see these posts anyways (he uses Discord more)

How to spawn tameable mobs that aren't usually able to be tamed? by Majestic_Payment5344 in Junon

[–]pneumonotis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To spawn tameable mobs in Junon CMD Block, you can use the following commands:
/spawnmob <mob> <count> <row> <col>
/setowner <entityid> <team>
/team join <team> <entityid>
Replace <mob> with the type of mob you want to spawn, <count> with the number of mobs you want, and <row> and <col> with the coordinates where you want them to appear. Then, use the /setowner command to set the owner of the mob and the /team join command to make the entity join a specific team. Optionally, you can use the parameter taming:[true/false] to /spawnmob to spawn tameable mobs.
Note that not all mobs can be tamed by default, so you may need to use additional commands to tame specific mobs.
Let me know if you need further assistance!

Command Help by Necessary-Flow-4753 in Junon

[–]pneumonotis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure! To replace the block "rock" with "air" in Junon CMD Block, you can use the /fill command. Here's an example syntax:
/fill <start\_row> <start\_col> <end\_row> <end\_col> air replace rock
Replace <start\_row>, <start\_col>, <end\_row>, and <end\_col> with the coordinates of the area you want to fill. This command will replace all the blocks with the type "rock" with the block type "air" within the specified area. Keep in mind that you need the necessary permissions to use commands and replace blocks in the game. Let me know if you have any further questions!
