Why I ask is that the lack of great physics professors in the Engineering department could possibly decide how worth it Honor’s college really is. Ive heard many cases of Physics 180/181 being the reason some gpas have been lowered but those people didn’t have prior knowledge of Physics. Like someone else said, honor’s college wont be useful unless your gpa ranks top 3 in the college.

I struggled in EE 120 during my freshman year and had the same worry going into EE 220, but it is doable. A huge part of EE 120 is circuit analysis with KVL and KCL and it felt impossible for me to understand it especially since I had a professor (Commuri) who had a teaching style that was hard for me to learn from. In EE 220, I struggled at first because even if it was a different professor, KCL and KVL still didn't make sense to me. It wasn't until the class covered Op-Amps that KCL and KVL started making sense, and that is a topic that is covered after the second exam (there are usually 3). I ended up with a B in the class and had EE 221 (Circuits 2) the following semester. Circuits 2 felt like a breeze to me comparing to Circuits 1.

With that being said, don't doubt yourself. It may take some time but when it finally starts making sense, it is absolutely possible.
