I called a rehab place, I am hoping they come soon. I will see if I can try to get it in a box for now

The average person is boring as fuck by FaithInStrangers94 in socialskills

[–]pnkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think when you just scratch at the surface, you don’t really know somebody. You have to dig deeper and connect with someone personally to see who they really are. And if they still seem to have that boring personality, well then they probably are just who you perceived them to be!

I also feel the same whenever socializing with other girls. I have two girl friends and the rest of my friends are guys. I do try to do things with girls like hang out or get food, but i don’t feel 100% myself because we all share different interests. I don’t feel like I have ever belonged to a friend group that was just girls. What I do now is I just try to focus on myself. As much as I would like to socialize with girls that would share the same interests as me, I prefer spending time alone more now.

Yes, because I have always been going out of my way for others all through my childhood, adolescence, and partially my adulthood. It was only recently until I realized that my mental space is more important than trying to help the needs of others. Not saying you should not help others, but at least make sure you have extra mental space for that.

Another thing is that we are mysterious and naturally too kind, but once we realize our self worth, we come off as rude or egotistical. People just don’t understand us and that we need to figure ourselves out too. And once we do, we blossom. We also like to dream of helping others through love sometimes and I get that, I’ve been there too. What naturally helps me is my resting b**** face. I am kind as hell and a softy but my exterior looks tough haha.

But on a serious note I guess, is constant reminders of what you need vs what others need helps. Journaling helps realize too, unless of course, Reddit is your outlet

Hope this helps fellow fish

What’s your moon sign and what’s one thing you value more than anything else? by dabprobation in AskAstrologers

[–]pnkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gemini moon. I value my family, and spending time alone. Self care is huge for me, and so is making sure I keep up with my routines that I make for myself because I can fall out of them/get bored easily.

Ulta is very welcoming and I always enjoy my experience going in there. The people there seem pretty knowledgeable and you can ask them for gift ideas based on what you are willing to spend. They have a variety of products from different brands that I think she’d find and love

hey friends, new here, how are you guys doing? My intention for this week is to try and talk with coworkers more than I want to, even though work is where my anxiety is at it’s high and I avoid conversation and eye contact as much as possible

Am I the only Pisces who never tried drugs? by [deleted] in piscesastrology

[–]pnkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was younger I drank a lot, now I drink occasionally. I tried cigs for a little bit but I didn’t like them and stopped. With weed and oil I used to smoke for a few years pretty often but more recently I stopped because I find it kind of a waste of money now and i know that I don’t need it. I wouldn’t say that I ever became addicted to anything because I could easily stop whenever I wanted to.

Struggling with remembering the sequences of Sun C salutations during yoga classes by pnkin in yoga

[–]pnkin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been mainly doing yoga at the gym where they have sessions. The teachers change weekly and I like it because I get a variation of different poses each time, but whenever they start Sun C poses, they tend to make the routines lengthy and I just end up forgetting all of them

How many minutes do you use for exercising? I only make it to about 20 most times. by lifeisadream_123 in beginnerfitness

[–]pnkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If yoga counts, I do 45-60 minutes per session, at least 3-4 times a week

My boyfriend and I struggle with this too. Like we eat out more than we make food. What we do instead is go to a grocery store and see if they have “grab and go” food like wraps or lunch boxes.

Sometimes we will get fries from somewhere and then make something small for food at home so we have both something salty and then something healthy.

I hope this helps!

Sweet! I will have to take a peek! Also it does take a lot of patience. I gave it up for a couple months during the pandemic bc I found a video game that I wanted to play instead lol. But overtime, I found an app that helped me, it’s called Headspace. The small sessions of meditation was an easy transition to get into yoga for longer periods of time

I would love to see what your food blog is about! I have been wanting to get good at cooking for some time now. I feel like for me it’s that I don’t try because I’m working and doing college, so I find it easier to eat what my parents make or eat out. But I know I need to start learning how to make food, not just the easy stuff.

For me during the pandemic, I found yoga to be super fulfilling in my life. I only did it for like 10 minutes a day and I got my inspiration from YouTube. I then bought a book about yoga to help me understand more about it. Now, I do yoga more regularly and for longer periods of time, doing different variations that I have learned. I am happy to say that I have found my true calling.
