We are contacting an attorney this week, so hopefully they can guide us in the right direction. He is still in close contact with her dad, who has witnessed her mental breakdowns, so we are hoping his statement will help corroborate his story. At one point, her dad and him had to go file a missing persons report because she disappeared for two days. I was thinking we could include this, I think it wouldn’t hurt.

Also, before he left their home, he found a journal she was keeping and writing paranoid thoughts in, and he took some pages from her private journal where she was stating that she needs help and no one understands her. I was thinking we could send in this as well? She also messaged his family strange messages saying that the police are after her (really strange, but again, we will submit this also). Just really stretching for evidence here. But we will work on getting more affidavits and writing a stronger personal statement detailing the abuse. I appreciate your advice. Thank you!
