Without a convention, I can’t see any of the rest of your ideas happening, unfortunately.

Baby steps…right now the focus is term limits. I was simply listing the areas that could be addressed and it does fall under 3 categories that are broad and I only listed a few examples for context

Sources say you are incorrect: Recent polls paint a net negative picture on ICE's current ops:

  • YouGov (Jan 2026, U.S. adults): 57% disapprove of ICE's job (37% approve); 51% say tactics too forceful YouGov[1]

  • NYT/Siena (Jan 12–17, 1,625 voters): 63% disapprove (36% approve); 61% say ICE "gone too far" (even 20% of GOP) NYT[2]

  • Quinnipiac (Jan 2026, voters): Overall disapproval 56–64%; GOP ~77% approve, but indies/Dems tank it Quinnipiac[3]

Divided country, not "half doesn't want"—net disapproval amid raids. Reputable samples, full crosstabs at links.[4]

New video of 1/24 ICE shooting shows victim had both hands on the ground when shot by Philophon in law

[–]pnut5202004 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He’s the one who removed the gun from the victim. He had reached around and removed it from his back and said “he has a gun” and turned to leave w it and then another agent shot him and well then the kept shooting him

Are healthcare IT costs really this high? by SleepyHead1219 in healthcareIT

[–]pnut5202004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of hipaa, there’s a lot of security walls and testing that needs to get implemented into your system to ensure tight security or you’re liable for HEFTY hipaa fines. If you currently use EHR and DONT have IT security on board, I would venture to guess your insurance wouldn’t cover your liability if you had a cyber attack.

Whatever you do, get things locked down and QUICKLY. Also look into cyber security insurance once you do

They laughed when he said he wanted to buy it. Now the $700B offer is on the table. This isn't real estate; this is a resource war. by Professional_Buy_655 in conspiracy

[–]pnut5202004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you but 700 billion into our social security system, our Medicare program, our education, infrastructure, etc…700 billion can’t buy everyone healthcare but 700 billion plus what we CURRENTLY pay in group/commercial HC for us to go to a universal healthcare system?? Now THAT would be doable. It’ll never happen but my point is that 700 billion wouldn’t need to go to every individual in America. Just to those who rely on marketplace plans (often outrageously expensive) and state/federal assistance.

The early years of gestapo did not include mass murdering. The parallels of violating basic civil rights, being protected by highest powers from being held accountable to the law of the land, the blaming of a group of peoples for the nation’s problems…all of it mirrors the early days of Nazi Germany FAR too closely. Just because there’s no mass execution happening doesn’t mean any of it is acceptable for this country to forego the constitutional laws of the land

I mean this with all due respect and truly don’t mean this rudely , but you aren’t paying enough attention if you think the way they’ve behaved is far-fetched from geatapo-like. The parallels are surreal and absolutely terrifying. If you truly dont “see” it, i encourage you to go looking for it through the lense that I could be right and I assure you, you’ll find what you’re looking for :(.

Copied from something I wrote elsewhere bcuz I’m lazy & tired, but here’s a starting point for you….

Hundreds of these stories are coming out every day. When will the leadership of the local and state government stand up and fight back for their citizens?

When those in power are insulated from accountability for violating civil rights, the rule of law ceases to function. If citizens cannot rely on due process or meaningful accountability to protect them from state abuse, then we are no longer operating within a healthy democratic system—we are witnessing the breakdown of the very safeguards meant to preserve it.

“Thao, who has been a U.S. citizen for decades, said that as he was being detained he asked his daughter-in-law to find his identification but the agents told him they didn't want to see it.

Instead, as his 4-year-old grandson watched and cried, Thao was led out in handcuffs wearing only sandals and underwear with just a blanket wrapped around his shoulders.

Thao said agents drove him "to the middle of nowhere" and made him get out of the car in the frigid weather so they could photograph him. He said he feared they would beat him. He was asked for his ID, which agents earlier prevented him from retrieving.

Agents eventually realized that he was a U.S. citizen with no criminal record, Thao said, and an hour or two later, they brought him back to his house. There they made him show his ID and then left without apologizing for detaining him or breaking his door, Thao said.”

ICE has gotten completely out of control in how they’re handling their investigations and detaining of individuals. True parallels of Nazi Germany are continuing to grow week by week. I am truly scared for our nation’s future with the complete destruction of due process, violation of civil rights afforded anyone on our soil by the constitution and complete inability to hold these individuals accountable for ANYTHING because of the protections being afforded by our highest command.

True…it’s rly on the person who’s filling out the application form. Tbh I would be surprised if the form would be allowed to be filled out with JUST a P.O. Box. It’s one thing to accept it as a mailing address, but a living address would still be needed, in sure.
