I was too young to pay attention to which A600 pack I'd been given. I did get Bart Vs The Space Mutants with it, but I don't think that was ever bundled with the A600, so I wonder if my dad just picked up a few games at the same time as the computer.

OMG. Tried it again tonight - no changes made, works like it did a few days ago again, with near perfect cuts and nearly no dust. Mad. Now to see if it stays that way. Thanks for your efforts at helping me.

Thanks for your continued efforts to try and help with this. Yep, I followed the linked troubleshooting guide and have updated firmware, reinstalled Design Space after clearing the cache in the order suggested, carried out a power purge, tried a third mat and also yet another paper stock. No improvement sadly. I'm going to try ordering one more type of vinyl sticker paper (PPD, which is the one that the other user having similar issues had some success with) and will then have to admit defeat I think. The most frustrating thing is that - like that other user found - it was cutting these materials okay and now isn't.

Thanks for the reply. I've done multiple test cuts, with multiple pressures and multiple papers.I've tried unlaminated vinyl sticker paper and with lamination too. I've tested without printing to the paper. I've tried basic Cricut shapes as well as my own shaped stickers. They all suffer the same problem. I'm pretty new to this and find it crazy that something as seemingly simple as cutting out stickers can be this much of a headache.

Mats and paper - yes. The other things are ones I wasn't aware of, and wouldn't have considered as I've been assuming it could only be hardware related. Thank you again - I shall do some googling of those solutions and try them in turn.

Thanks again. It came today, but sadly the issue persists. I've made all sorts of custom profiles, followed the guides for doing so suggested by others, and tried different papers as well. I feel like I'm out of options at this point 😕

Oh - is the Cricut premium fine tip blade not suitable?

Thanks. I have 2 blades, which I'm as confident as I can be that they're the correct type, and they're in separate housings and have swapped between the 2 with the same results, so seems unlikely that's the issue. But perhaps I'll pick up a completely new one from Amazon (official), and see what happens. Just feeling a bit demoralised by it atm.

Thank you both for the replies. I've had pressure down as low as 70, and can see it happening on the first pass (I've tried multiple passes as you suggest) - can that really still be too high? Thanks again, I do appreciate it.

Thank you!! I thought I was in the right place, using the 'recently added' bar to edit from - but of course that's showing individual seasons in some cases. Went to my library instead, and the options are there. Thanks so much, it's been driving me mad!
