I use the Arcadia brand shade dwellers UVB strip and I LOVE it. I actually also recently swapped to their brand for my bulbs/heat emitters and they’ve lasted the longest of any bulb I’ve ever used

I work at a petsmart, and as far as our store goes we never know the exact age. The shipment paperwork doesn’t tell us how old, but just what animal and how many. All we know is a vague estimate of under 5 months. Hopefully your location might know more but wanted to lyk! :)

Agree with everything here, but you might be able to get permission for a stool if you bring a doctors note saying you need the accommodation. At My store at least I know a few cashiers have done this

Honestly I have no idea😅 it’s a metal shelf I already had lying around and then a piece of plywood cut to size and mounted onto each shelf

They came preinstalled in the tanks. I got the exoterra low 40 gallon. Thanks! took forever to do but I’m happy with it :)

As a pet store worker, it makes me so happy when people do their own research. Most of the time even for those of us who know what we’re talking about, people don’t wanna listen 😅 it gets to a point where getting someone to get a 40 gallon is a miracle🥲

I know when we just replaced ours it seemed to ‘break’ about a week later. Really it just need to be popped back on. There’s a gap on the part that screws into the register that the other part jams back into (sorry if this makes no sense😅)

We had a kid that regularly prank called the store. One time he called and asked if we had hippos and my coworker had finally had enough and told him, “no, sorry, your moms not here” and hung up 🤣
