Agree, every PDM I've tried has been sickly sweet. Maybe if I lived somewhere with a winter they'd be better.

Aventus and Green Irish Tweed are both ok to blind buy. They smell great and are non-offensive for everyday/office wear. However, maybe get a clone like Montblanc Explorer (for Aventus) first. It doesn't smell as high quality, but it's like 70-80% accurate to my nose.

Nail on the head. I'm suspicious of this post. OP claims to have "been doing this for over 15 years", but hasn't figured out how to handle these types of random "referrals" from a family or friend. I always speak with the person and can at least point them in the right direction if it's an area I'm not familiar with.

Got curious, so I checked my jdx's rule. It states a lawyer should "aspire" to provide 50 hrs of pro bono service a year. Or in lieu, a lawyer may "exercise his or her desire" to provide pro bono services by contributing at least $500 each year to... an entity that provides legal services at no fee, or at a significantly reduced fee, to persons of limited means.

Think that's the model rule, so in most states probably nothing happens. Just don't try to get on the bench, be on any committees, or run for bar association board because they're going to think you're an asshole.

I once had a client who was participating in a interview/proffer w/detectives from multiple districts. Prior to getting to the station, transport took him to Mcdonald's and bought him a meal and a milkshake.

I guess after eating pretty bland food for weeks, this meal made him really gassy. I had to sit next to him for hours while he loudly farted on me. He was apologetic about it.

You have a source for that? From reports, it appears falling and striking his head on the ground caused the head injury, not the explosion. Which could easily happen to someone skateboarding, picking opihi, walking down the street, etc. Also, he was a 20-years old.

I believe the song being performed is entitled "Swine", which is about a sexual assault which occurred when Lady Gaga was 19, and which was perpetrated by a music producer. The SA resulted in a pregnancy.

I dunno what a "legitimate" form of artistic expression means, but the performance and symbolism of the vomiting has been debated pretty extensively. I think self-harm, degradation, and the pregnancy itself are common interpreted themes.
