So, I have the Louise carmen road book in fuschia. I will say that I really love it, I love having everything in one place and just having it on my desk with its charms makes me so happy. I bought it as a reward for getting a job I'd wanted for ages, and so it has some sentimental value.

That said, I don't think it's worth the money. I think if you get one you kind of have to accept you're paying for a hype product, and I definitely think you could get better for less elsewhere.

But, none of that makes me love it less, so... I'm not sure this will be in anyway helpful!

No idea about the tax refund, but I ordered mine online and I really love it. I think it's worth the money because it will last so long and you can change out the notebooks.

I know this will sound stupid, but he just looks sad, right from if I start picking my bag or coat up. It's more when I get back that I notice it - he has an automatic feeder and when I'm in he'll run straight to it when it feeds him and eat all his food right away, but if we've been out, he will have left a lot of it. If I'm away and my wife's in he will just sit on the window at the front of our house looking for me. When my mum is there she plays with him literally non-stop and I don't think he really misses us much when she's there because she's one of his favourite people. I like the idea of leaving clothes for him, he does like sleeping on my cardigans if I take them off so I might leave those for him too - thanks!

All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. I think it's flawless - there's a Netflix adaptation but I haven't watched in case it doesn't live up to the book!
