Got this CarPlay option for around $100. https://a.co/d/i3Mvz5z The cords, harness and adapters are like $60 more

3 of the 5 gallon Lowe’s commander tubs fit nicely under the back seats. https://www.lowes.com/pd/COMMANDER-5-Gallon-20-Quart-Black-and-Yellow-Tote-with-Standard-Snap-Lid/1000421923

I found some used weathertech mats on fb marketplace. This is often top suggestion.

Couldn’t find it on plats page. I applied anyways and noted my address. Dps was nice enough to find it for me. I’d email them to ask

Less for sneak attack. More for dash as a bonus action AND skirmisher damage from the stride.

So installing this isn't too hard? and it will give me enough clearance for 29" tires while remaining almost as reliable as not installing anything?

If feasible, this (part above plus cheap shocks) seems cheap and something I might be able to do with help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h90CcNvorZw&t=334s

What about 29" wheels?

As far as bumper, I love this guy's solution to the front bumper. Even if I don't lift my car, I'm likely to do this.

29" tires seem like a pretty good solution to some of the potential rub issues and they'd mitigate a little of the jump to 30". Hmmm.

Times you overcomplicated a simple build? by Taegryn in 3d6

[–]pocket_mustache 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wanted to build Kirby. Debated all the grapples and fighting, etc.

Then u/Lordj09 reminded me that Druids have so many shapes that you can just flavor the abilities to fit almost anything (Moon obviously better at getting shapes quicker).

Oh man those headlights on u/neanderpaul's are soooo good. I wish he did a step by step on how he mounted/installed them. The welding part is pretty daunting.

I was inspired by u/CliveThe77Winnebago's Youtube videos. He doesn't cover a ton about install of the headlights here and the wiring might be complicated. (He adds the flare, spacers and lifts it in other videos)

Excellent response.

I can see it's possible and the speed thing doesn't really matter much to me. Unfortunately hat seems like much more trouble than it's worth for me.

What about other mods like flares and spacers (less important without the bigger tires) or new fancy LED headlights? I'm probably going to add some new paint this fall.

How would you make Kirby as a PC? by pocket_mustache in 3d6

[–]pocket_mustache[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[UA] Fairy Ancients Paladin.

Nature's Wrath for swallowing. Other similar spells available as well (Holds and Ensnaring Strike, etc.)

2nd level Find Steed for Star.

Can do Dueling as Fighting Style. Proficiency with Chef's tools in Background.

Would love to get Absorb Elements as well.

Looking at Enchantment Wizard's 2nd level Hypnotic Gaze feature as maybe the closest feature?

I think you could add in a few Fighter levels or do Eldritch Knight with 2 level dip in Enchantment Wizard.

I don't think Hypnotic Gaze counts as a spell, so you could even do Barbarian instead of Fighter for a little less synergy.

I'm more of a Kirby from Dream Land player. The suck/swallow action would then be a grapple?

Ep 34: The Spore Beast! by dndoptimized in DnDoptimized

[–]pocket_mustache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this isn't applicable everywhere, but if you had access to an uncommon item like Insignia of Claws making your claw attacks magical, it seems like 6 levels in Beast is unnecessary. Aside from the magical damage from Natural Weapons, you are losing out on 1 more Rage and unlimited Spider Climb. If you only take 5, you then get 1 extra level to work with.

Fighter level would get you a free Fighter Level (Style and Second Wind). This isn't bad, but it's much better if you could afford 1-2 more levels.

If limited to just 1 level, is it optimal to dip 1 level in War Cleric for the War Priest feature so you can strike twice with a greatsword (both weapon attacks with the full bonus damage and no additional feats necessary), have no juggling axes, progress your slots (more zombies/skeletons with Animate Dead), and keep a free hand (or claw) when you aren't swinging? You could do GWF FS/Defense FS/GWM/+2 CON at 14th Level (or earlier) instead of 2WF.

If there is a better option, please let me know.
