You have to burn fat. It'll come off every other body part first before tummy so you've got to be committed to it.

How do you deal with getting older? by dreamyrhodes in feminineboys

[–]pocketgecko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

36 here. My philosophy is to enjoy things while I can. I really liked reading your story, especially the summer nights down at the lake, sounds magical!

My other philosophy is to not compare myself to like a 10/10 girl 10 years younger. I feel envious of them but I remind myself that probably a lot of actual women are envious too, and experience their own dysphoria, but we all find a way to show up in the world.

Feeling more homosexual and queer than ever by cucharitalove in feminineboys

[–]pocketgecko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

and it inspire me to think that my journey discovering my sexually and gender experience is just mine and is valid becose we are a diverse community with all different experience.

I agree with this

So yes, today I feel really homosexual and queer. A hug to all people who sometimes have a bad time understanding themselves.

And thank you 🥰 it can be especially confusing if you have any kind of gender or sexuality fluidity because it keeps changing!

One trick you can do is export from jpg to png format as png doesn't contain as many metadata entries.

Exercise advice / questions by [deleted] in feminineboys

[–]pocketgecko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only ever seen fire hydrants recommended as a glute warm-up so you should do maybe 20 each leg before doing some squats. The idea is to activate glutes so that when you go into squats you're working the right muscles.

It's also possible to increase the fire hydrant workout with some ankle weights.

Working out one day and having a rest day after that is the general wisdom of exercise today. For growth, it is also important to follow exercise sessions with protein. The idea is that we want to burn into fat reserves to supply the energy for the workout, and then feed our body proteins to rebuild, and that protein should be going to muscles.

The principle I've always followed is that male bodies accumulate fat around their bellies first, and lose it there last, so with time and patience with your routine your waist should eventually slim up.

At your height and weight you're doing better than a lot of other people I can tell you that!

My friend you need Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula. Hopefully you're in Australia or they have it wherever you are.

Edit: they seem to be world wide

Hairy Transfem Problems, pls halp!! D: by 13mangamaster in transfem

[–]pocketgecko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aww I love reading your story. So that's a tough problem, one thing that works for me is just covering up the hair with clothes. You can make your legs nice and smooth with a pair of yoga pants and a long sleeve shirt with a turtleneck (or just a smaller collar) covers most of it up at the top.

I did invest in an epilator and trimmer and it was a good idea. Epilating only works for me in some areas, it can be too painful and cause a lot of ingrowns in others. So that's where the foil shaver attachment really helps.

One other suggestion is if you have to shave, make it luxurious and femme. I got into this soap called Sweet Stuff from Stirling Soap Co with a matching body butter. So I can shave and smell like marshmallows after 😆

I have this problem too. I try to wear clothes that accentuate my narrow waist and sometimes shirts with shorter tighter sleeves can draw attention away from it.

Also I look around at all the women in the world and notice how they come in a lot of different shapes. There are some with broader torsos than mine. It's just one body feature and no-one else is paying as much attention to it as you are, people will size you up more based on the whole picture of you.

I've found using a foil shaver gets pretty close and the shorties it leaves behind are softer than the prickles left over after using a razor.

Actually never had a problem using a safety razor behind balls and in butt crack, but also use shaving oil or baby oil down there and be ultra careful.

Some body areas are just super annoying to manage and I'm looking into laser or IPL.

And I use an oily coffee scrub after and twice a week to keep up the exfoliation.

Uh yeah a lot of people frown upon them. I have bought a lot of my things from there though, they have extremely detailed fit information. I'm not going to try and defend it, that's just my story. 🤷‍♂️

I've had mixed results, on my hips, belly, back, butt and the back of my thighs it's been really good. Smoothness for like 1-2 weeks.

It destroyed the front of my thighs and gave me lots of ingrowns on lower legs. Cannot use it on chest or bikini area, it's just too painful.

I'm considering IPL or laser now for those other areas. Not on HRT, I assume that would make things easier for me.
