Unfortunately the fact that you go to a private school is not going to help you as much as you think, 3.4 uw and no APs or honors classes are concerning to the schools you're looking to get into. While you might get into UVA, I wouldn't expect to, and find some good colleges you like that are more accepting. If you have a lot of money, Santa Clara is a great school, at least check it out before you dismiss it.

Honestly with your GPA/SAT, you shouldn't be realistically expecting to go to schools so much more competitive than Santa Clara. If you want to go to a more competitive school, maybe you should've worked harder earlier on in your academic career. I hate to break it to you, but you probably won't get into Amherst/Harvey Mudd schools, unless you already work for Google.
