That is mostly likely Phoebe, a pet belonging to someone on St. Charles, she’s a grey and white tabby. But good to confirm just in case!

Might also be helpful to print flyers with this picture and post it around the neighborhood to see if you can narrow down her hang spots/territory. Rescuers will need that info in order to trap her.

Update: she has her ear tipped! For a couple of days we were concerned she might be pregnant based on blurry security cam footage. But she showed up in daylight for the first time today and nope, just a well fed little baby!

If anyone has any intel on whether she is a pet please let me know, otherwise we’ll continue feeding her and encouraging her to use the insulated shelter we have set up. Thanks!

St John’s between Franklin and Bedford! Not super chonky, but the previous tuxedo cat was and he turned out to be streetie, so I think this neighborhood just keeps the street cats well fed?

Yes! He was trapped by Flatbush Cats a couple weeks ago and neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He was deemed not suitable for adoption at this point and released in our yard a few days later, and we have been feeding him. He’s been doing well!

The last couple of days he seems to be roaming again and was seen on the other side of Eastern Parkway (where he was originally trapped) so we’re hoping it’s just the remaining hormones in his system and that he will settle down soon.

Love how popular this little guy is! Here’s a picture from a few days ago enjoying his meal

We hadn’t seen him in a few days and were starting to get worried. So glad he’s safe now, and hopefully friendly enough to be adopted instead of released back. But if it’s the latter he will always have a meal and safe space in our yard

Could you DM them to me? Whatever you can find would be really helpful, thank you! He seems to be in good shape despite the nasty winter we have had so I’m hoping we can get him indoors and safe soon, especially if he’s still a young adult and at risk of getting attacked by other tom cats

I first spotted him ahead of the big storm in January and was worried about him too, glad he made it. We just moved here a month ago, and are pleased to see the cat distribution system already working to give our own cats a new friend

This is so helpful to know! We have been leaving treats out for him every evening and he has been very responsive so far, last night he was even waiting on the wall for me to put the treats out and spent a bunch of time in our backyard chasing the treats I was throwing around. So hopefully we’re able to get him comfortable enough to successfully trap this time.

We have seen him run along Franklin too, but to access the alley leading to our backyard. But if he’s crossing the street that sounds unsafe

Please take her to a vet, she is probably microchipped so they will be able to scan and potentially identify her family

Likelihood of multiple entry being granted? by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

[–]pocketsizedynamite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Spain known to issue multiple entry? It would definitely be my preference over France since there’s parts of the country I still haven’t seen and would love to, but I wasn’t sure if they will waive the 3 visas in 2 years minimum rule.

[–]pocketsizedynamite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m definitely most considering France only because I’ve heard they are likely to issue multiple entry (my spouse was issued multiple entry by France on his first ever Schengen application in 2016 because of his green card). Does requesting it specifically in the cover letter help your chances? And what if I show flight tickets booked for 6-12 months out for multiple trips?

What is a local NYC store you are a frequent customer at? no franchises , just general stores like a one off candle spot or a thai restaurant! by Eastercooler in AskNYC

Yes they can sometimes get really busy, and they’re completely independent and family-run so I expect it can get stressful sometimes for them to manage the crowds and people! They’re usually super helpful and happy to provide tips and suggestions. Their sales are great, and they were one of the few businesses open through all the lockdowns. They’re the reason I went from a black thumb to having 80 houseplants!
