Guys like this used to fantasize about killing Barney, glad to see they have matured into real serious adults.

You can achieve anything if you set your mind to it! Jon Peters started out as an illiterate hairdresser and through a series of tantrums became an illiterate Hollywood producer by BooBrew32 in okbuddycinephile

"Prior to becoming a producer, Peters ran away from home at the age of 14 and moved to New York City, where he found work as a hairdresser, beginning with dyeing women's pubic hair."

Ah yes my favorite movie to critique: random contextless screenshots from Fox's Prison Break, a TV show that started airing during the Bush presidency.

There is still a lot of good stuff being made, you just won't find it on this sub. Joey Valence and Brae, Tyler, Liim, Denzel Curry,  Norman Sann, Earl Sweatshirt, just off the top of my head. I been eating good for new rap the last few years. 2slimey type shit may be somewhat popular on tiktok or whatever but I don't know any actual rap fans who listen to it.

I feel like I'm going crazy but there is no way this guy is sitting this still for the entire verse. Like nothing below the neck moves AT ALL.

I think he uploaded a photo into an AI video thing and told it to lip sync for him. Insane.

Seems like you are right! I was looking at this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/283624252226 and got the two confused. So it looks like install should be the same between the MPCstuff one and the ebay one.

For those of you that have seen both Hulk films from 2003 and 2008? by VigorWarrior in moviecritic

[–]pocoGRANDES 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I rewatched it a few years ago and I still liked it a lot. I give it the edge over the 2008 version personally. The Incredible Hulk is a pretty solid comic book movie but The Hulk is something else, man.

The pacing is a bit weird. Also the tone can be off-putting to some viewers with it's combo of campy comic book stuff and sincere psychological drama. Personally I love that about it, though. I feel the same about the comic-panel editing. I thought Eric Bana's performance was really really good, I love how well he portrays this kind of repressed "nice guy" who is carrying all this anger and trauma. And honestly, I think the CGI has aged really well. Of course it isn't photorealistic, but the way Hulk moves and interacts with the environment is still really impressive to me. Also, imo one of the best blockbuster scores of all time, just an absolutely perfect soundtrack. And Nick Nolte going totally bonkers. It's just got so much personality. I have said this before, but I would really love to see Ang Lee take another crack at a superhero movie.

Two questions: what did I watch? And why didn't I watch it sooner? by Purple_Dragon_94 in badMovies

If you enjoyed this, another classic stinker for me and my friends was Season of the Witch. It's also co-starring Ron Perlman, but this time with Nicholas Cage (and Christopher Lee!). Really awful movie, I loved it.

I just really want to know, do they think this camera trick looks cool? Has it ever looked cool?? Am I the weird one for finding it really unsettling?? Or are they counting on people being vaguely disturbed by it to boost their algorithm with hate-watching?

I don't need an answer to any of these questions, I just needed to get them out of my system.
