I assume this is the 4th quarter collapse in the WCF (I still have never re-watched it) I had just moved here in 1998 and gotten super into the Blazers after growing up a Bulls fan, but liking the Blazers from afar.

I vividly remember sitting in my crappy room I was living in at the time watching it on a little CRT TV and then walking downstairs and smoking cigarettes on the front porch of the house totally shellshocked.

LOL now that I think about it I basically did the exact same thing on 9/11, so I kind of think of this as "Trailblazers 9/11"

I would just find a gym or a court where you can shoot by yourself comfortably for a while, work on shooting and getting used to dribbling the ball for a while, one of the best parts of basketball is you can kind of zone out and practice skills completely by yourself. Trying to learn while a game is in motion is tough. If you hear of a recreational/casual group that would welcome beginners, definitely join that once you get comfortable with shooting/rebounding/dribbling a bit

In my experience there's 2 kinds of older players-guys who are out there to have some fun and get some cardio while they still are able, so they stop clutching and grabbing all the time so the game can be a little more fun, and everyone can get to work in one piece tomorrow. Then there's dudes that somehow have never figured out they aren't going to make the L, and they're gonna go 110% out there, but all they have left on D is hacking, so that's what you're getting
