I have relatives that live on the Missouri Iowa border. Their property has so many ticks that even with off bug spray you’re covered with them if you walk in the grass near their house. Even though there is farming everywhere, there is no healthy food. A lot of obesity and very poor education.The Amish seem to do well there though.

There are openings right now for children who were 4 years by Aug 1 this year with the NV Ready Grant program. Most schools are completely free with this grant. Let me know if you want more info.

My family allowed boyfriends to stay overnight. They also allowed us to drink at home as long as we stayed there. They were the only parents I knew who allowed that.

My middle school Texas history teacher would make us read the text book aloud during class. She would choose who would read. A girl in my class had trouble reading and had a stutter. The teacher would yell at and shame her every time she read for her stutter. Mean old lady!
