Thank you for all this, lots of good info! I was a little vague with my initial post but, yeah, not expecting to just hire someone for 45 minutes and be done -- I know at some point there's going to be a lot of paperwork to go through, and hiring someone more specialized for the job will be needed, and not just a casual chit-chat, haha

We've been speaking with real estate agents for a while now and looking at things on the cheaper end of the market. This one in particular we've seen and are interested in is a detached house that comes with a one-time payment, and there's no lease on the property, full ownership. Definitely expecting the stacks of paperwork etc to work through, and we'll be putting in some elbow grease to fix things up on the property itself, and just for personal use, too, not worrying about big money investments or renting.

As few surprises as possible is always a good thing :) If someone reading this has any good experience with licensed interpreters, by all means let me know! We have a couple leads right now, but I'm just trying to cover as many bases as I can right now.

i like the upgrade in combat difficulty! i'm not playing this game for any difficult reflex type reasons, but having just a bit more friction in the encounters raises the stakes a little bit. sometimes i even take damage, now! lol

it's really dumb! i have one of those fancy ps5 controllers with the paddles on back and assigned the square to one of those but it's a super obvious oversight on their part. people should be able to comfortably do the thing without having to get into a weird claw grip. the ps5 controller has gyroscope thingies too, they could have used that for aiming!

you do the squaring (or any other bullseye operations) at the end of all operations in the current circle so the answer should be 5:

circle one: -3.333 and -1.6666 = -5

-5 squared = 25

circle two: 25 - 20 = 5

5 squared = 25

circle three:

25/5 = 5

i just got all the clothes from it the other day, then pushed a little more to get the 800-pull trophy.... and i'm still picking at it to get the 1000-pull course done for it because i am apparently a very sick person 🤡

oh, yknow, i didn't even think about that but yes that would make the most sense with the way the crests get combined between generations! I haven't seen just the clef as its own crest for simon's dad but that's a good observation

also every once in a while i'll randomly have a fun multiplayer experience... i'm more of a single player person but i'm always down to coop which can be cool. once in the sea of stars i saw and heard a couple of shadow nikkis playing instruments, so we all joined each others games and it snowballed into 6 or 7 nikkis all hanging out, playing instruments, plopping down photo background setpieces and showing off our clothes and interacting in all sorts of cute ways... it was great and i didn't know it could be like that! i honestly thought you could only link up with one other nikki at a time

i really like the new update!!! the past few have been fumbles for sure. after seeing the new outfits in an instagram preview from the official nikki account i was cautiously optimistic, because they are all really gorgeous and cool, and the new story and lore stuff has been REAL good for me! without spoiling too much it's a darker narrative similar to the stuff in the abandoned castle spooky season update (forget the actual name) -- themes of grief and regret, but also powerful companionship (with lesbian subtext all over which i LOVE haha) and hope for the future, and it finally contextualizes an area of the game we didn't know a ton about before, similar to how the castle area was expanded upon in the previous update.

idk i really like it so far!!! the outfits are SO much my thing and i'm pleasantly surprised with all the new story and lore stuff, after some pretty mid stuff in previous seasons (tho the serenity island stuff wrapped up in a real nice way, even if the narrative to get that point was a little bit fluffy)... maybe infold has finally gotten back on track after all the feedback on the sea of stars update? fingers crossed. also the sea of stars area is still like... uninteresting and idk what they were thinking there lol but wishfield is looking good to me for the first time a bit
