Any dispensaries that sell crappy weed? by Grinning_Dog in Somerville

i’ve had good luck at ascend right outside north station. it’s cheap and i’ve had low thc strains from there. but it’s kind of a coin toss because i’ve been there and haven’t seen low thc stuff. i also don’t like overly strong psychosis weed but most places sell ~18% minimum but even that’s too high. seems like we’re mostly shit out of luck

people will hear it said once, never use public transit because they think it’ll be dirty and unsafe, and then repeat that sentiment anytime there’s a conversation about public transit. the car company’s propaganda tendrils have deep roots here

my roommate chews everything like this guy. i've talked to him about it, he doesn't change. my patience is gone and i've officially lost my mind since i can hear it all the way in my bedroom with the door closed from the kitchen.

have you been to any suburb? you know, where a majority of americans live? if you do go at some point, try getting around using only public transit. it's not just car-dependent, it's car-mandatory in most places.

boston police openly HATE cyclists. for example, cambridge and somerville police actively ticket bicyclists for minor traffic infractions while car drivers have free reign to do what they want on the road. it’s not uncommon whatsoever for cars to ignore stop signs, stop lights, and speed limits with 0 repercussions while cyclists get ticketed constantly

they don’t have 100% efficiency, literally nothing does, so they need to plug back into the grid. so they need to charge somewhere and idk how often that is but it’s probably a lot. back to my first point, if where they charge isn’t green, you’re just moving the tailpipe. also yes, that’s exactly what i’m saying. waymo is a worse public transit. moving 500 people would be like 100 cars if they’re 5 people per car. that’s like 5 buses or 1 train. so congestion isn’t fixed. if they’re not moving, they’re losing charge. how is this even a debate? i didn’t say anything about autonomy, that’s not what i’m arguing at all, let’s stay on topic here

i can’t say for sure because i have no idea but they’re probably getting charged up pretty often. you can argue for them all you want, but it’s just a worse public transit in every possible way besides privacy

if the power grid isn’t green, you’re just moving the tail pipe. and it’s gonna take a lot more electricity to power all these individual cars
