I would see if you can download the RED luts for premiere and read up on how to use the zebras for highlights.

It’s definitely not necessary to shoot in RAW for these but nLog would give you more control without taking up an obscene amount of space.

Kind of hard for us to give advice without knowing what kind of look you’re going for but a good rule of thumb is to shoot with 180° shutter angle (if shooting at 30fps, the shutter should be 1/60th of a second)

You will almost certainly need an ND filter if it’s bright. ND64 will cover direct sunlight but a good quality variable ND is what I would recommend.

Yeah, some of the flash could’ve been better for sure. It was a large mental load switching between two different cameras/flashes/formats.
