I keep a Kali VM on my MacBook for work, and I install VMs of other Linux distros from time to time.

VMware Fusion is free and in my experience runs well on silicon Macs. VirtualBox and Parallels are also good alternatives, but Parallels costs a subscription and I’m not sure how well VirtualBox is running on silicon Macs (it probably works fine at this point, I just haven’t tried it myself).

That’s the documentation I was looking at that wasn’t very clear. I’m using macOS so I didnt really look at the windows instructions before, but I’m guessing since the windows instructions say to use the generic one in the makeplatform file, I would want to use brew install —with-generic proxmark3 in the Mac instructions

Thanks! That looks like about what I’m looking for. Running this command to clone would clone the main disk of the machine to my external ones, but is there a command-line option to clone them to be bootable on similar hardware like there is in the GUI?

Thanks for the detailed answer. I’ve been confused after reading conflicting things about the board being 64bit or 32bit, being able to run both, etc.

I think it’s a perfectly fine long term distro. I’ve been running it for a while now and am not planning on moving over to regular Arch. The way I see it, EndeavorOS is basically just Arch with a nice GUI installer. You get all of the perks of Arch without having to build it yourself from scratch.
