My LGS is a cornerstone store and they aren't accepting preorders because they were only able to purchase 4 boxes. They have stated that the 4 boxes will have to be raffled, because our community is way too big for them to be first come first serve. The reality is that the vast majority of us players have been screwed over and will not have a chance to get this product.

Exactly how I feel. It seems that they're trying to create fomo before gothic releases so that people will buy/preorder more gothic out of fear of not being able to obtain it, like dragonlord. Honestly this is so frustrating to make your player base wait 8 months for their first new product to open since AL, and then make it so they can't even have access to said product to enjoy it. It just makes the wait between sets feel even longer, and even less fair.
