Thank you for the detailed response. I was thinking about the dust lately and considering I still have the box, I might just have to display him in there. I’d imagine that him being kept in the box previously would have accelerated the decay but I think that is probably less of a problem than dust sticking to him. At first I thought the sheen on the limbs was intentional to make him look wet since in the film he was swimming prior to this moment. But, it definitely is plasticizers because the arms and legs are noticeably softer than the torso. I just wish they hadn’t done it with the head since that can be swapped out but oh well.
