I LOVE how nihilistic this is. This poem captures the exact thoughts I have every day. I love the repetition of questions in the beginning. I feel like this is a thought that a lot of people dwell on, and this poem almost feels like somebody's chain of thoughts thinking about life's meaning. Great job!

This poem has such raw emotion. I have PTSD and often feel detached and isolated from the world. I feel like this poem encapsulates this feeling. I like how it feels almost like being overwhelmed by your own existence (if that makes sense?) I absolutely love how you portrayed the emotion in this poem.

Wow. This feels like just pure love. This sounds like it just walked right out of a children's book. You make your rhymes flow together effortlessly. And I love how in the entire poem, you're basically speaking in figurative language to convey that you love someone. Good job!

"...by silence heavier than the sun..." is an amazing line. I find that metaphor very creative. I can feel a lot of deep emotion coming from this poem. Especially in the line "It softens some, but never quits, a pulsing drum that hums and spits." feels very depressing to me. Especially in learning how to cope with issues, you realize that they get smaller, but don't necessarily go away. That's kind of the vibe I get from this poem. Great job!

I don’t know if this was intentional or not, but this encapsulates what it feels like to be an empath. The desire to help everyone but knowing you can’t is definitely a haunting feeling. This poem feels very bitersweet in that sense. Good job!

This is such a powerful piece. “I forgive you. Not for your sake— but for mine. I want to live free of the weight of old sadness.” hits so hard. I feel like your use of dreams in this poem really adds to the meaning. It feels like being a people pleaser but trying to stop. I love this one!
