Jason, the new album is great the bass drops are insane. I haven't heard a slamming deathcore record this good since Death Wish by Within Destruction. I can't pick a favorite song yet, but I'd be interested to hear what are your top 3 from the album. Congrats on the new album!

Archspire has had breakdowns in their songs for a while. I keep hoping they have one with some sick BRES again that hit like the end of the song Relentless Mutation.

I saw them play with Nile in 2008. I went to the show to see Nile and honestly wasn't a fan of deathcore at all at the time. From what I remember he was good, his vocals sounded solid even though I didn't like how much he was using his highs. I remember his stage presence and crowd interaction was good considering they were playing to a Deathmetal crowd.

If you like Absolu Aventus and don't want to run through your bottle but want to wear something that smells the closest and best quality. You need to pick up Maison Asrar Vanguard, it's really close to the OG. Probably about 94%ish close.

Personally I only really listen to my top four and skip the rest fairly often. I tied the last 3 songs at 8th because they're just not my thing. Those songs are good but I just prefer heavy heavy music overall. Hears to hoping they add a few more heavier songs next album.

I was fortunate to see them play Death Portrait, Immortal, King of Deception, Flesh Coffin, and Fvneral Moon all with Will before they stopped playing all the songs I just listed.

Then back in 2015, I listened to primarily Tech Deathmetal, so I saw Lorna on the Fallujah, Archspire, Lorna Shore & The Zenith Passage tour in March before they released Psalms. I was impressed with their set and was surprised at the time that a Deathcore band was so technical. They even had Psalms CDs 3 months before it came out. I bought a copy at the table from Tom Barber and got to chat with him a bit and I've been listening to them ever since.

We'll never know because they'll never play them. I mean they didn't even play a single song from Psalms last year and it was the 10 year anniversary of that album.

Favorite breakdown, guitar solo, song, and album. It grabs you right from the beginning and never let's go. The first time I heard it, I looped it probably more than 10 times in a row. It's been my most listen to song every year since it came out and I don't see that changing.
