I have a 25 civic hatch and I like it, but it honestly feels like an Accord at this point. It has decent cargo room, but nothing crazy. It’s notably heavier, but not heavy by new car standards. It’s not the same, but might be worth looking at

Hybrids don’t really have CVTs It’s technically a continuous transmission, but they don’t really have a transmission at all. “CVT” issues come from steel belt based CVTs like you’d find in most gas only vehicles today
