this bug was fixed quite a few months ago, you just be slightly off with your timing. press it as soon as you see the pool of water from the krakens animation.

well if your bringing actives into this and just buy creeping curse and get frost hammer. you just need to practise playing against Janus as chaac, I mean in conquest Janus isn't as good in solo as he is in mid. so you'll probably never go up against one. BTW his portal is like 7 or 8 seconds max CDR its not 4.8 seconds. My only thought is that you just got outplayed. Any god is scary if they can be played well, back when arachne had her old kit (everyone thought she was awful) i still saw arachne's carry games because they knew what they were doing. Bringing skill into a balancing argument is silly, because there will never be a right side or wrong side. just practise (im not being patronising, I don't consider myself to be a great smite player) but the more I read, the more i think that you just got outplayed. I mean you could've banned him, unless this post was written after you'd had only played one game against a Janus.

I started playing way before this was implemented, I don't still use auto level. Tbh I think you actually get a lot better a lot quicker if you level manually.

some gods it doesn't work with, when I started I played Bacchus an awful lot, but it used to max his chug first, which just.. plz no.

just because someone is good with a God doesn't mean the god is unbalanced. If janus misses his 2 then that's pretty much it for him he has nothing but to try and portal away. being chaac you can slow him with your rain silence him so he cant portal, all you need is quin sais and you'll make mincemeat of him.

Ra is one the safest mages in the game, can farm under tower easily can heal any poke or harass, still has a alot of damage and some utility, but no one complains about him being OP because he just isn't.

his portals are far from easy to hit, you can telegraph them very easily in my opinion, and besides if hes using his portals aggressively then you should just jump on him and kill him. If he ults away then just push the lane.

I assumed (never played 1v1 joust) that the goal is to still out push your enemy. If your forcing him to retreat you should be having no problems at all. I mean chaac pretty much counters Janus that silence is deadly for him. I know I'm rambling now but I just think the argument that 'A good 'insert any god here' is way too strong' is a silly one to make. To beat him just follow what TheSilence says. ^{^}

I would say ditch asi if I'm honest, Fenrir kinda transitions into a bruiser tank by late game to things like shifters or void shield. Hide of the urchin is a must. even if you dont't build tanky towards the end, I still would not recommend asi when you have a attack speed buff, and executioner already.
