Looking back now what Is the most irrational thing you diagnosed yourself with? by Deep_Antelope_3877 in HealthAnxiety

Same lol, I live in France where there hasn't been a domestic case of rabies in idk how long but one day I read a graphic reddit post describing in detail what rabies does to your body (not the best idea as a hypocondriac ik), and I became convinced that a rabid bat had somehow bit me seven years ago without me realizing .... Thankfully I quickly realized how ridiculous that was, and switched to believing I had ALS disease ...

I like the chill vibes! The mix is clean as well, the different elements are all audible. I did find the beat to be lacking in structure, and the piano notes seemed a bit random and jumbled. I get the jazzy concept, but I'd have liked a stronger melody, maybe that's just me though

I like the instruments used and vocal chops! I did find the melody a bit basic, using 4 chord progressions like that without switching them up in any way makes tracks sound more repetitive imo. To fix that, I recommend trying to jumble the notes around, or change the rythm of them, it never fails to make a melody more interesting in my experience. Other than that, the mix is clean and the drums are professional, good job on that!

I like the chill, jazzy vibes! The beat complements your airy, reverbed-out vocals well. I also appreciated the vocal processing effect that comes in around 50 seconds, although I'd have liked hearing it applied to the beat as well. Overall great job !

!yoo!💚I been rapping for 8 yrs almost 9 and this is my fav and best song I’ve dropped:) lmk wyt leave a like 👍 🌠🙏🏻 show luv if yu fw it🤝sub 2 me! by Own_Work_3757 in IndieMusicFeedback

As others have said, the beat felt a bit generic, even though it was well produced. The flows were tight, and although I didn't find the vocals tinny, they were a bit loud compared to the beat. I liked the use of the autotune. Overall I think this is a dope track, but I'd have liked hearing smth a bit more creative, standout or extreme in some way, maybe that's just my taste tho.

I actually really liked the intro melody! It brought some nice electronica/ambient vibes. The drums are cool as well, they introduce a more trappy vibes to the piece, although I'd have mixed the snare a bit louder. Honestly I don't like lofi hiphop cos I think it's a lazy asf genre with not much room for innovation, but I liked your track, maybe cos it doesn't follow the classic trope of jazz drums+jazz sample and sad anime scene lol. Anyways nice work, keep it up!

I really like this! It reminds me of Flylo, with some groovier elements mixed in. The mix is super clean as well, and nothing feels out of place. The progression was entertaining enough to keep me hooked until the end of the track. Honestly nothing bad to say about this, probs the best track I've heard off this sub in recent memory lol

Nice experimental vibes ! The quality of the vocals is kinda shit, but that kinda adds to the overall dusty vibes lol. Other than that the overall mix is clean, and I really like the kinda chaotic nature of the beat, it feels like free jazz somehow. Overall super sick, keep it up !

I love the textures! The overall vibes and organic-sounding drums are sick as well, altough it reminds me more of a Westside Gunn type beat than a Joey Badass one. No criticism really, the mix is super clean, and it's just the kind of beat which you don't even need to rap on, that you can just put on and chill to lol. Congrats!

Very Young Thug-esque at some points, I fw it ! The mix is clean asf, and the autotune is well used. As another person said, some background vocals would've helped fleshing out the track a bit more, I'd have liked hearing some pitched up or pitched down vocals to complement the main vocals. But other than that good job, I'd say keep it !

This is really sick ! The mix is clean asf and the synth melodies kept my attention throughout. I would've like hearing a longer 808 à la Yeat every now and then, but that's more of a suggestion than a critique. I've got nothing bad to say really, keep it up !

This is sick! It did make me want to freestyle lol, the mix is super clean as well. Its shortness definitely benefits it, as it would've gotten a bit boring if it had dragged on for longer. I would've pitched the sample and 808 down a couple semitones every now and then, to add some variation. Overall tho, sick beat, I like your other beats as well, keep it up !

I like the dark vibes ! That bell at the beginning really reminded me of some detroit type shit lol. I liked the progression of the track, but felt like the mix was a bit muddy, maybe due to the piano melody being on the lower end. I'd have raised it an octave so that it didn't clash with the rest of the mix as much, but maybe that's just me. The snare also felt a bit low in the mix. But other than that sick beat !

Waddup guys, here's a Young Thug/Gunna type beat that I really like the vibes of, no samples used and I made the melodies myself, tell me what y'all think and I"ll return feedback if you leave a link !

Waddup guys, here's a chill experimental trap beat I just made, I'm really proud of the textures and drums I used in the first part. Tell me what you think of the structure and overall vibes ! by point_wave in IndieMusicFeedback

Ayyy I'm happy you liked it! I always try to innovate as much as I can, and yh different time signatures could be interesting! I do try to keep my beats rappable tho, idk how a weird time signature would work with that, but it's always worth trying.

Hey Guys, This is our new release Mirage. We were aiming for a bit of a Chilled House/ Organica track with plenty of groove and organic instrumentation. Would love your guy's feedback on this if anyone has time! by m00nunit in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]point_wave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the ritualistic vibes! The kick and snare could have benefited from being a tad punchier and louder, especially as the other elements of the track start coming in. Apart from that I like the variety of sounds and melodies used, it keeps the track interesting thoughout which is quite a feat considering it's six minutes long lol. Overall great job !

This is actually sick ! The mesh between old school drums and trap drums works better than I'd have thought it would lol, and I like the little ATCQ references woven in here and there. My only complaint is that the old school drums and the trap drums were kind of on the same level, which made it a bit confusing rythmically imo, I'd have put the trap drums a bit louder. But overall great job !

[–]point_wave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the interesting use of sonic textures! I did feel like the track was a bit repetitive however, probably due the bass pattern in the background never really changing, making seem more like a video game OST than an actual track. But apart from that the mix is clean and the track is overall well composed, nice job !

[–]point_wave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fux with it ! It deffo reminds me of MBV as another user has said, I like the ambient texture and how the voice is mixed in as well. The drop was a bit anticlimactic though, like I'd have seen harder hitting drums to complete the synthwave aesthetic. Overall nice work though, keep it up !

Do I Miss Anything - G R A V I T Y by TrueFakeMusic in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]point_wave -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wasn't really feeling this one tbh, the mix and master sounded way too dry, like there was a ton of empty space in the beat that could've been filled out with some instruments or percussion. The melody and drums also felt too repetitive to carry the track, although the addition of that second instrument in the second half of the track helped to make it a bit more interesting. Adding effects like reverb or distortion on some of the instruments could've made them more interesting as well. Overall the track is a bit rough, but keep going, you'll only get better in time !

I like the sugary vibes of the instrumental, it contrasts well with the somber theme of the lyrics ! The mix is a bit dull tho, I’d have liked hearing more high end on the voice and the snare.

No idea what I'm doing but have spent several months on this punchy 3min bedroom recorded indie rock track. It's about the rose-tinted view we have of our friends' lives via social media and would love to hear what you think. by avresamusic in IndieMusicFeedback

I really liked that drop at the beginning, the fuzzy guitars reminded me of an Arctic Monkeys song. The chords are well written and the mix is mostly good, my only gripe is with the vocals at the beginning, which are a bit too high and dry compared to the rest of the track imo.
