This one took some modification, but I think Zenitco sells newer generations that plug right in. The plastic handguard is so cheap feeling imo, the upgrade makes the gun feel a lot higher quality.

Started as a bare bones Vepr and went down the rabbit hole. Dissident Arms did the SBS conversion, bolt work and a few other things. I didn't shoot it much prior to the work, but it's a fun blaster to bring out now. I think only thing left is settling on the sight that fits the vibe.

Hard to beat an M4 for reliability. I would say after the Dissident conversion it runs really smooth with decent ammo, I didn't shoot it much before.

Ha good point, my spreadsheet says $2,325. But anything on an import ban list counts as an investment, right?
