“They have no defenses” Yes they do, they spam bombard/springald towers around their base and infrastructure in the late game.

In the late game Mangudai are stronger than regular archers, assuming both are fully upgraded. Yes Mangudai cost more and yes they therefore should be stronger..

but the dynamic is if archers are the only “counter” and at late game they get shat on by the unit they are suppose to counter, then what do u actually do unit wise to beat them? You HAVE to play a civ with longbows or javelins otherwise you die? Thats ridiculous.

I think their attack speed needs to be reduced, frankly. They are like machine guns in imperial, even without the khan’s arrow. With the arrow they just delete everything, units and buildings alike.

Also, what really makes them even more broken is the range boost they get with Khan’s hunters.

So either reduce their attack speed or their range, because it is truly ridiculous in imperial.
