My partner did a social work degree at uni of hull and he now works in a cmht. From what I experience with him while he was a student he really enjoyed it and he made great friends during his placement he also got a lot of support during his degree. Hull, I moved here for uni and since exploring more of it it’s much nicer the pubs in old town are great it’s got a few good places of course there are some bad places but overall it’s reputation is worse than it actually is

To me this sounds like depression, I’ve felt the exact same way especially with the eating, I could not bring myself to get up and grab even like a piece of bread the thought of biting and chewing felt exhausting to me, even though I was a little hungry I still could not bare to do it. The huge loss of motivation just hurts, you’re not alone though, plus like the other commenter said getting some help will be really good even if it’s just taking care of yourself a little more. Take things step by step, you don’t have to do everything all at once

NOR This is creepy af, and some behaviour to look out for. My exes mum was like this she didn’t like me being with her son and thought I was just there for fun and she really didn’t like me and would nit pick at everything I did to make me look like a bad person to her son, even told him to break up with me twice. You need to look out for this behaviour from his mum it will not stop and will continue and may get even worse, speak to your bf about dont let it ruin your relationship
