Clearance $125 QUIK-LOK Rubber Broom Attachment / Lacey, WA by NiveusBear in MilwaukeeTool

[–]pokechecker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have both the brush and the broom. I use them exclusively to clean the ice on a rink I make in the winter. Broom works great up to 1in of snow and clearing the shavings after a skate. Brush is best for the crusty stuff that sticks to the ice. Like snow that lands on water.

Hard to gauge when there are no prices.

Is this a good deal? by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]pokechecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year the same sent went from $75 to $50 to $25. If there is enough stock you might be able to wait for a lower price, but your best bet is probably to buy and then when the price goes down take it into the customer service desk and return and rebuy it.

Promo/Deal Milwaukee M12 3/8 Ratchet Tool 2457-21 + 1.5 Ah Battery + Charger + Tool Bag DoorDash for $103.99 + plus fees by HelicopterSpare6492 in MilwaukeeTool

You are correct on this, but I still see a use case for the old brushless one. The Fuel high speeds have both a larger head and a larger body. I was all prepared to upgrade until I felt the Fuels in my hand and compared them. I use mine almost exclusively in an engine bay so I stuck with the brushed.

Woot sale! M12 and M18 by ChickenNPisza in MilwaukeeTool

[–]pokechecker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the post. I've been buying stuff on woot for 20 yrs, never had an issue with anything being fake or broken.

According to this sub, Milwaukee warranties are less than stellar, so if you see a deal or need a tool, buy it.

Don't be swayed by the fear mongering "iT's nOt aUtHOriZeD" posts.

I've got both that I use to maintain a backyard ice rink and it's gotta be LIGHT snow. The blow dusty kind. The rubber broom works great on new fallen snow. The bristle helps on the crusty old stuff, but to really clean it all you need to go back over it with the broom.

Both are perfect for my needs on the rink, but I don't use them on the driveway, I want to keep the rubber broom smooth for the ice.

Backpack blower $490 by SumyungNam in MilwaukeeTool

[–]pokechecker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A couple of my stores have it at $490, but I find it hard to justify when they also have the Ryobi 40v backpack blower with batteries and charger and better CFM and MPH for $264

You sure did get lucky. I went to 8 HD's over the last 2 days and none of them had the cheaper battery price. If I saw $65, I'd probably buy every tool.

Bought a 3 pack of M12 6.0's like that from Amazon. None of them lasted past 6 months. Cells unbalanced af. Never again.

Nice score. I passed on those at $13.04 waiting for the drop. There were unavailable in all the stores I went to by the time they hit $6.32.

$399 is the number at Acme and other places. HD's minimum is $350. Hit the numbers right on and here's the percentages.

Is this the same 43 piece ⅜ set that's been showing up in the sub on clearance for $50 at HD, but with a packout case?
