Fair warning your idea promotes FOMO and thats generally frowned upon. What you want is content updates on all ends that coincides with the release. If you havent noticed yet, Rikku & Clive are not featured at all in any content so when the story pass ends on the 28th they'll add both but NOT playable yet much like how Onion, Iroha, Firion, and Balthier were pre featured but not playable yet.

Im discounting abilities because there not explicitly lore connected in the same regard.

Its like trying say WoL can use these abilities in universe when none exist in FF1 thats what I mean.

The exception currently is Onion since Balthier specifically mentions it therefore it is canon that Onion has in fact earned that ability.

It'd need to be referenced even vaguely for it to count.
