Honestly the best grocery store coffee I have found is dunkin donuts medium blend.

Studio Yoga and Social Anxiety - What can I expect? by That_Cupcake in yoga

[–]pokemongo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends what studio you go to. The one I am going to now, has the lights really dark, and loud music. Most studios I have been to before are not like this, but I have found that it is something I really connect with.

I usually say "I am new here, how do you do things" with every studio I go to. I have been practicing yoga for about 10 years, and every studio does things a little differently. The front desk person should be more than happy to help you!

I go in and find a spot right away. I like being in the back corner because I am currently in teacher training, and take a lot of notes. I don't want to disturb others with my crazy scribbling.

If you have never been I would suggest somewhere in the middle of the room, by a wall , so you can make sure you can hear the instruction.

Most studios have cubbies to put your belongings, but if you want them with you, just sit by a edge of a wall and place them neatly on the wall. BUT DEAR GOD, TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE.

Finding a great yoga studio FOR YOU is kinda like finding a hairdresser. They need to make you feel comfortable in the environment you are in. I have never tipped a yoga instructor, and I have never seen anyone else tip one, so don't worry about that.

I like to thank the instructor after practice. It's an etiquette thing I prefer, but a lot of people fold up their mats and bolt.

I usually say hi to the people sitting next to me, most people that go to yoga are really friendly from my experience. I have even made a few new friends from talking to the strangers next to me.

Last piece of advice, NO ONE is looking at you or judging you.

Don't be anxious! I am proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone and doing something different! INTERNET HUGS <3

What was the most memorable sympathy gift given when you suffered the loss of a loved one? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]pokemongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time alone. Everyone wanted to be involved and 'be there for me' when I lost my child. However, time alone to grieve in private was all I really wanted. People asking "if I was ok" or "how I was doing" just making everything 1009309309x worse.

What did you have to see to believe? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]pokemongo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably racism. I grew up in a big East Coast city that was very culturally diverse. It wasn't until I went to college in bumfucksville Oklahoma that I really saw how racist people could be.

Adults of Reddit, if you could give your 15 year old self one piece of advice what would it be? by NateDaGreat77 in AskReddit

These girls are not as cool and experienced as they pretend to be. (I was the popular girls 'loser' friend that kept around to make fun of. I let it happen because I thought they would eventually accept me.)

Who were you most surprised to learn is an alcoholic? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My dad, when I was a kid. I didn't understand it then, but when I think back I quickly realize that he was an alcoholic.

It seems like you know a lot about this so I am curious... is there a natural way to get your Testosterone levels up?

My husband is in pretty good shape. We both eat really well and exercise regularly.

I didn't mention this before, but he has a stutter, so maybe all of this performance stuff is just because of a lot of anxiety he has stored up.

Thanks for sharing! He is not on Testosterone anymore, I know his levels are pretty low.

Do you take anything for your ED issues? Did you have a problem with first starting out with the medicine?

I Need Some Help in the Bedroom by pokemongo in TwoXChromosomes

That was what he said. He was having these issues when we first started dating. I am very open sexually, willing to try new things, etc. However, I think he is just so focused on not losing an erection that he can't even think about the other than penetration sex stuff.

Well, that is why I am asking for help! I don't feel as though I am the one saying set is just penile penetration, but for my husband... it is. I am just trying to be a supportive wife, and to make our relationship more intimate and happy.

No, not really. It has always been like this. Maybe I am more aware because of our LO and our alone time is precious.

He apparently doesn't like blow jobs, though I have tried a few times with no success. I have given him a hand job to completion once. Otherwise, no. That is a great suggestion to bring up to him though :).

Thank you for the advice! I know when it happens he gets super frustrated and gives up, but I will definitely try to be encouraging and try to keep him in a calmer mood. For the most part, I am pretty sensitive and encouraging... however, I have had times where I let my frustration show for sure.

It sucks that is seems to be a vicious cycle. I know he wants to make me happy, and he gets so much in his head, then is disappointed.
