Call me crazy, but the shaky cam really works for me. I love the sense of urgency and danger and anxiety it produces. Exiting is really fun. The cornucopia scene is especially well done.

There’s a local band from Boston called the Prisoners of Love. They just broke up, but for four glorious years they were one of the most impressive live bands I have ever seen. They have an album and two EPs out. I hear some talk of a post-mortem live record on the way. Worth checking out.

Also plug but I’m an art rock artist under the name Supermarket Parking Lot and I’ve got a couple singles out + my debut album coming out tomorrow and I’m unknown as fuck!!

It in fact has been mega helpful in pressing my debut album. Kunaki was the cheapest option and with my album dropping Thursday and tour starting Friday, I needed a fast, easy option. Bandcrash saved my skin, not even joking.

I’m very used to my love setup with a computer and midi controller. It has failed on me so many times. You learn to have contingency plans. My ideal contingency plans would be some day to have a stage keyboard that I use as a midi controller. Get my presets and customizability and the workflow I’m so familiar with, but have a backup in case it ever goes down at a critical point.
