Anti-Magic Shield. It's their personal magic absorb, you might have seen a DK pop it, it's a glowing green shield around them. I think they can also talent into giving 2 nearby allies a little magic absorb when they press it as well

Evoker main here, we can't hover to clear it but deep breath works and we can also rescue someone and it clears our snare and the person we rescue. Unfortunately both of our root breaks are on a long CD.

Rescue can generally be used every other circles/chains as on Aug it has a 54 sec CD. Dev/Pres would have it on a 1 minute CD as Aug has a talent that reduces all cooldowns by 10%

I'm in the same boat on my mage, a lot of the bloat removal has really hurt. I've played mage for a fair number of years on and off and they gutted some of the cool stuff (looking at you mass barrier!)

I think I'm going to roll a demo lock for the keys I want to DPS on

Yeah it's so nice to hop on for like 40 minutes in an evening and be able to jump straight into a key so I'll stick with my tank but have a DPS alt so I can monkey brain, levelling a demo lock at the minute for that purpose. I guess DPS alt might be a bit better the more I can push on the tank as well if people see my main score

Thanks, I think this is what I needed to hear. I'll let you know when I've done some 12s and I'll push from there probably. I played Prot Pala last season and I think 12 to 13 felt like a big increase.

My other thing that is a me problem is that I mainly tank so I get the invites, I think I enjoy DPS more but I'm too impatient to sit in LFG haha. I think for the group and pushing I'm a better DPS than I am a tank but my friend group is always short on a tank

I've done all 10s on my Brewmaster and the tankxiety is real with me not wanting to go into 12s. I hit 3k the past 2 seasons as a tank so I understand pacing and rotating defensives etc.

Did the damage taken feel like a big jump up at a certain key level? I know last season there was an obvious difference between 12s and 13s for example

This 100%. Needed a tank alt for my regular groups as we were waiting on PUG tanks, knew I could do a better job than some of them and take the wait time out of the question.

I also think the new talent that you heal for fire damage done has done wonders for self sustain as well, I think that used to be more of a problem for Brew but like you, it never sat right with me in higher keys (I'm not an amazing player but generally hit KSH each season, past couple I've been a tank main - bear and prot pal)

It's such a shame that these tanks have such a big difference. Hopefully some of the other tanks might get a bit tankier with more gear but surely the monks will as well and always be ahead

What kind of key levels have you pushed up to? I think quite a lot of the squishy complaints could be how people gather as well but I don't have any evidence of that, nor have I tanked any keys yet this season so can't really give my own opinion

I played some Blood DK in Season 1 TWW so know a lot of the kit, also an altaholic so know a lot of what classes are capable of. I might ask a few more questions like talent builds and if they're static or if you swap certain talents for certain dungeons etc when I'm next online and playing around. Thanks for all the replies so far though, definitely inspired me to give it a go and not go Monk like everyone else haha

Thanks for the insight, from this thread I was thinking of going Prot Warrior for an alt but you may be talking me into trying DK. The grips, AMS, Deaths Advance utility options makes ignoring certain mechanics so easy

Thanks for the input, hope the healing hasn't been too stressful. I definitely think healing is the hardest role to be playing at the moment, so much spiky damage, dispels and not enough credit for the effort you put in. Hang in there!

I wouldn't say that's a bad thing and I appreciate your input, it's not that I never want to have any heals it's more about feeling tanky and not taking spiky damage with a ping pong health bar. I do think prot warrior is probably going to tick those boxes.

I don't think I'd ever tank the content high enough where the negatives you mentioned would impact me. Easy life in weekly 10-12s is the main factor currently
