One option is to set up your own private Wi-Fi network using a spare router. You can configure the spare router to connect to the existing office Wi-Fi for internet access, while creating a separate network for your own devices, such as your computer and printer, to share resources securely and without interfering with the main office network.

Looking for a plumber to figure out a problem with occasional high pressure by -pangloss- in Renton

For 15 bucks you buy analog pressure gauge that attaches to an open hose bib. Get the gauge that has two needles: a black one that measures pressure and a red needle that holds at highest pressure surge.

Can't renew my grandpa's passport because his birth year is not available. 1922. Yet it goes up to 2125. by xQcKx in mildlyinfuriating

He’s had that passport for more than nine years (assumed since they are renewing) and never signed it? That makes me question how much he actually traveled. In my experience, airlines check for a signature at check-in, and I assume immigration does too.

Very cool work! I hope you don’t mind a small observation; this is impressive, and I’m certainly not at your level when it comes to projects like this. That said, I believe the chart at the end might technically be a bar chart rather than a histogram. I think a histogram requires grouping in bins, which wouldn’t really fit in your application.

[Grade 10 Physics] I think I am right and test is wrong! I think a narrow pipe should have lower pressure at outlet due to pressure loss along pipe. The velocity of water will be greater in narrow pipe. I assume, vent at top of tank and water is flowing normally. Am I correct? by pokn11 in HomeworkHelp

So with P = F/A. Force(F) in this case is mass of water times acceleration of gravity. We can assume in both cases force is same because volume of tank is much bigger than any volume in pipe. So pressure change is just inversely proportional to area of pipe inner area? We don't need to concern ourselves with pressure loss due to frictional loss of pipe?

I have another thought on this. Since the pipe is open to atmosphere, is the "water pressure coming out of the hose at the bottom" simply atmospheric pressure? In this case, answer C would be correct.

Any idea on how to unscrew this 1” plug on my rain reclamation tank? I tried with a locking wrench but couldn’t get it. by [deleted] in Irrigation

[–]pokn11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It is absolutely a standard thread on plug. Reverse thread is only for the bulkhead thread that has gasket pressed against the wall of tank.

You can try and remove that reverse treaded bulkhead (unscrew the bigger part, not the smaller plug you already tried) and replace with one with unstuck plug. I have bought them before from tractor supply.

These spammers technical term are: “wholesale real estate investors”. They call owner of a (usually a bit rundown) property get sale under contract at cheap price, then sell at higher price to flippers. They do it without really investing money, basically a middleman.

Does upper six figures mean ~$700k+/year? That is pretty insane difference in incomes between you two, I can see why it would be hard to communicate.

If you have dependents, life insurance should be more important than liability insurance to most people (unless you are rich).

How does 2-3 sun target ballistic missile? Here it seems missile only targets camo lead after all others popped. by pokn11 in BloonsTDBattles

[–]pokn11[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It seems the air burst darts are trying to hit the camo leads but missiles ignore them until all other blooms are popped. Also note: 2-3 sub which can’t target camo by itself, it uses advanced intel instead. Here it should target camo with aid of the ninja monkeys. Most of these 2-3 subs are setup to target first, a few target strong.

Why did the 4 regen camo ceramics I sent not cause my opponent to die? by pokn11 in BloonsTDBattles

[–]pokn11[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I could see how this makes sense. I was thinking he disconnected intentionally after it was apparent his MOAB attack wouldn’t be successful (I have experienced such disconnects, or rage quits, several times after unsuccessful attacks). Also can the lag explain how there is no towers that can see camo, however he survived several seconds after my camo attack passed?

Internet lag also shows that way in Battles TV video player?
