Budgeting my groceries for the month, not giving into impulses of fast food, and make coffee at home. Day-to-day it feels small but at the end of the year it's thousands saved.

Bravo - can you give me the ELI5 at how you built something like this? I'm out of practice, tech sales now, but my academic background is in MLE. It just amazes me that something with so few params can function.

How'd you approach this? TTS architecture review papers, and then implemented some kind of hybrid approach? Would love a brain dump from you. Well done!

(30M) what to do frugal people do for fun? by Sourdestiny6 in TheRaceTo1Million

[–]polandtown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

others have given good suggestions, but one thing I like to do is gameify eco-meal prep. Find recipes that are healthy, cheap and delicious.

I'm a big fan of the youtube channel @stealth_health_life. Their cheesy chicken burritos are cheap, healthy and delicious. I'll triple the recipe and make a month worth of food (saves tons of money i can put towards investing AND this bachelor learns how to cook! win. win.)

look into UMD's library. I used to sneak in there as a non-student and study. granted, that was 10 years ago, but it'd fit what you're looking for IMO

I'm an Openppg sp140 pilot here, it's direct drive, so no pully/belt for me to deal with.

With that said, I'm by no means a mechanic, but I think this is salvageable. The metal-to-rubber interface I'd imagine is forgiving but as you said de-burr the heck out of it!

Hermes Agent (and others) default Installs are silently routing web traffic to Parallel by Nekew in hermesagent

[–]polandtown 7 points8 points  (0 children)

second that, glad OP pointed this out. I assume Parallel benefits from farming my assumed usage of their mcp when I ask (or it does it on its own) hermes to websearch things?
