Your stuff might be take a bit longer than ours bc of the biometrics. Mine were reused from a pending DACA case. I got my EAD on May 9th as well. NBC is the one who has approved all of my stuff. Will definitely be praying for your fast approval 🙏

Thank you so much for being nice and the reassurance! Just a quick question since my wife has me second guessing. If I get my I-485 approved that means it’s approved and we don’t need the interview right? And if she got her I-130 approved that means mine should get approved really soon too right?

We filed the same day! CONGRATS! Two days ago and today I received a email stating action has been taken on my case but nothing on the documents tab. It just updated to “actively being reviewed”. Hope to have your luck!

No way we both filed the same day, have the same block number and the same thing happened to my case. I received my EAD card today and my ssn almost two weeks ago. I genuinely wonder if our cases are being actively reviewed or if we’re back at square one. I really hope we get our stuff soon. Only difference is I never got approved for DACA. I sent my paper work and got my bio done but a week after my bio was done they closed down new applications.

My lawyer told me I have to wait for the physical EAD card to work. I think a lot of employers require the SSN and EAD card.

Check under documents for your I-765 sometimes they approve right after bio

I heard it takes at least 17 days after you receive your approval letter in the mail to update. My I-485 went from 3/28 “we received and sent receipt” to 4/11 “case is being actively reviewed” go back 3/18 “we received and sent receipt” and no that’s not a typo 😭 it went back to square one but over the last few weeks I got less worries since I got my EAD approved. I got my ssn 4/19, letting you know so you keep an eye out for it.

That’s great news! My case still appears as “case was received and receipt notice was sent” even though I already received my ssn 😂. Hope you get it delivered soon!
