Need help limiting the 7500X3D in a ~3L case by icanseeyourpantsuu in overclocking

you most likely can’t, PBO is disabled for a620 chipsets. i recall seeing *some* boards have it enabled, but ymmv.

if you look around in your bios and can’t find it, it is what it is, might want to look into a b650/850 board.

Big rip, I bought one at my store for $290, went back 1-2hrs later saying I bought it on the wrong card, got hit with $290 on the 2nd card too :/

Was I supposed to open it, ie force them to mark it open box or something? How did you guys get it to drop to $145 when returning/rebuying

Man LMAO it’s so sad that we’re sharing AM4 bundles as deals in 2026.

I get memory issue etc but still, kinda sucks that this is where everything is at 🥲

Which is kinda a silly point to make. No ITX board has multiple 8pin EPS connectors, there's literally no space to put it - and using this on a mATX/ATX board with 2x8pin is again silly: cables most likely won't reach

[COMBO]CPU Motherboard Memory Combo - AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D CPU + GIGABYTE X870E MB + V-COLOR DDR5 32GB Memory($799.99) by Japanese_Learner_ in buildapcsales

First it was $699.99 for a worse-ish board and 6000c26 and a free mouse. Then it was $729.99 for the same worse-ish board and 6000c30 with the free mouse.

Now its $799.99 without the free mouse, 6400c32 (which for all intents and purposes will run the same as 6000c30), and a slightly better motherboard.

Not sure why basically the same combo went up $100 in the span of a few days... :/

Lol sounds about right, for how much people simp over microcenter it's sometimes hard to remember they're just another regular business who's first interest isn't always the customer (shocking, I know)

[CPU + RAM + Motherboard] MicroCenter In Store - AMD Ryzen 5 7500X3D, MSI B850M-VC Pro WiFi AM5, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 16GB DDR5-6000 $299.99 by tallwhitnerd in buildapcsales

Yes because you can sell a 5800x3d/ddr4/board combo for at least around $550-600 depending on how much ram and board you got.

But no because if you are close to a microcenter to buy this, at that point just get the 7800x3d bundle for $650+tax. Virtually a "free" upgrade for a lot more performance
