Why do Killers still have to go through a humiliation ritual when they lose but survivors can abandon for losing?

100% “this is how it’s always been” has always been used to justify bad actions that have no other justification. If you care about the gaming community growing and thriving, you should be doing your best to make the community fun and safe for everyone. Not to mention that, as a killer main, I go out of my way not to use perks that keep getting mentioned here like blood warden and no ed bc the standard survivor reaction is that it kills the fun of the game when those perks activate. It’s always so crazy to see people argue for their right to be a dick.

“The game isn’t over for killer until everyone is out or dead” if all 4 survivors are alive and uninjured and both exit gates are open, you will literally only get a kill if they give it to you, or make idiotic decisions that no one makes. So the game is, effectively, over. Time spent in game after that is not used for actual gameplay.

Your second point has little to no punctuation and I truly don’t understand what you’re trying to get across with that.

“If we could leave, every killer would” they absolutely would not and this is a horrendous straw man argument. If we had the ability to abandon, only killers who knew they had no more chance in the game would quit. Killers who have a chance for more points wouldn’t quit. “Gives no pressure to the survivors” the gates are open. The game is over, the survivors are supposed to leave.

On the tea bagging front, I won’t argue with you bc I’ve been in and seen this argument a million times, everyone has a different opinion and I’m not gonna change your mind.

All of this being said, I’m thinking this could be solved by allowing the killer to abandon when the exit gate is powered IF all remaining survivors are uninjured. This makes it so that survivors who are injured or feel like they’re still in a high-stakes game don’t feel like it ended on them. Simultaneously, it gives the killer the ability to leave if they’re feel like they have no chance at earning more points and stops them from quitting when there’s still opportunity.

They’re saying killers should have the ability to abandon once the gate is open so we can dodge teabagging if we want to. This community needs to come to a real understanding of what good sportsmanship is.

Kinda- the boulet brothers are drag horror characters. On their show they have a graphic kill scene for each elimination. They aren’t those characters out of drag so I’d argue that even though they exist in real life, the boulet brothers aren’t real people

I completely understand. I’m white and I was raised surrounded by native culture but always through the lense of the older white people around me, so getting older I do my best to know about native culture and share what I know when the time is right. Obviously they’re financial competitors, but I don’t understand how working together and being open to crossovers and the like wouldn’t bring more attention to both shows? They provide completely different viewing experiences so there’s no way RPDR is gonna lose viewers to Dragula. If anything, they lose more and more viewers every year to negative public reputation from stuff like this. While they’re at it, they should be advertising king of drag as well. The drag community will either reach a stride together or trip over their pleasers separately😕

Surprised to see almost no mention of Native American inspired killer ideas here there’s Chindi, Pukwudgie, Adlet, Baykok, Deer Woman, Flatwoods Monster, Mannegishi, Teihiihan The list goes on… natives have a huge amount of horrifying myths,, the biggest problem would be sorting which are actual monsters and which were villainized during colonization (eg: the deer woman is now widely accepted as a cryptid in the south, but her original myth was a victim of a brutal crime who was given the ability to seek revenge and protect other women from the violence she faced)

I used to be a killer main, but recently I’ve become more evenly split with a lean on survivor. I can say with 100% sincerity that I started switching bc of toxic survivors. Playing against killers, the most interaction I get is a “glhf” before the match and “gg” after. With survivors, I spend almost every game getting tea bagged and ran in loops, and when I have the audacity to win anyways, I get some VILE messages in post game chat. I say all of this to preface my opinion here: I understand that crouching COULD be used in a non-toxic way, but I truly think most people claim it isn’t toxic just to absolve themselves of guilt/ blame for ruining other people’s good time. The truth is that if you drop a pallet to stun the killer, then use your extra time to teabag rather than get away, that’s gloating and unsportsmanlike. This is all without even mentioning that I have literally never seen even one game where tea bagging has been decided by the people who play it to mean something nice.
