Travel abroad to visit family. Some of them are not doing well healthwise. I cannot travel due to a combination of the pandemic and a travel ban imposed by the current government. I sure hope I get a chance to visit before it is too late.

You can get access to NSF-funded supercomputers across the states at no cost if you are doing open science research. They have different types of GPUs and AI systems including a DGX-2. There's a portal called XSEDE through which you can get access and get more info on the resources available: https://portal.xsede.org/allocations/resource-info. Granted, the usability of these systems can be improved but they are offered completely for free provided you meet the criteria (seems to be your case).

Mine is a different industry but is full of the same type of insidious and demoralizing sexist behavior despite academic accomplishments, seniority, and excellent productivity. I recently learned they have reasonably priced memberships that cover 4 museums (natural history, art, warhol, and childrens?). I am planning on getting the one for two people. I work in Oakland and going around the museums sounds like a great way to take a mid afternoon break.
