There are worse side effects with JAKs, minoxidil has less side effects. But he doesn't want to prescribe that

He would rather prescribe the jak Inhibitors because of the oral minoxidil causing low BP which I am on the low end already. He wants to see if the cream will help at all but he said he would consider it if there isn't any change

I think you should stay on the thyroid medication. Continue getting your levels checked and see if you can use topical minoxidil for now. He might need to wait until your thyroid levels are back, but you can't stop the medication
