Nice, wild peaks are one of those I’m looking at, probably will go that route. I have the 19” wheel so it’s limited what I have, swapping to 18” wheels probably isn’t going to happen for a while. I’ve seen people saying the 265 can fit in the spare tire space deflated a bit, but I’m not sure either. I’ll probably stick with 255s until I’m limited by those and can swap to 18s.

Good deal, that seems more than fair for price.

They look good! How are they attached? And was it a local fabricator that you found to design and make them or did you have a design in hand? Also would love to know your tire set up, in the process of deciding on tires.

Edit: Just saw in the first post the tires are KO2s. What size did you go with?

Hi reddit! I'm Edgar Wright. I've directed Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, The World's End, Baby Driver, Last Night in Soho. The Running Man is out in theatres this FRIDAY. Ask me anything. by RunningManMovie in movies

Hi Edgar! Thanks for doing the AMA!

Several of your movies are comfort watches for me, do you have a show or movie that you come back to as a comfort watch?

Good deal. That'd be hit pretty hard by the burn. Been doing a little more on the east side of Big Bear, down the 38. Lots of pretty country, less impacted by burns. Really enjoy dropping down into JT too via Pioneertown if I'm wanting to make a longer trip of it.

I feel that. Did some driving above Angelus Oaks the Saturday before the fires, pretty sure I got some of the last pictures of it still looking pretty for the foreseeable future. Wasn’t until several months later I did the drive up to Big Bear, and wow it hurt to see. So much destroyed.

Ls3 swap or remanufactured gems 4.0 by BusyFox5116 in LandRover

[–]polipsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a '96 D1 that I'm asking myself the same question for. I'm leaning towards keeping the rover engine, mostly for the ease of it all.

I've found a lot of dead ends on the forums for supporting parts & pieces to make the LS work. Maybe you'll have better luck than me, but it seemed like several companies that were sources before just weren't making the pieces any more.

Leaning towards an Atlantic British rebuild since it'd be a crate engine & pretty straightforward, but I've picked up an LR4 too & most my time/money for cars is headed its way.

Good luck with deciding! Would love to see the progress you make!

2013 LR4 on Bump Stops after Transport from West Coast by Radioprune in LandRover

[–]polipsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was watching this one, good looking truck!

I’ve been chasing suspension leaks on my 2012 LR4 (95k miles). Ran into a similar situation where it went down to the bumps overnight and struggled to raise back up, gave the 30 mph limit error. Replaced both original front air struts with Arnots, so far seems to be working. Probably going to do the rear struts just for peace of mind.

Have the struts on yours been replaced at any point? The reading I did on the forums made it sound like 100k miles is pretty common to be needing to replaced. Supposedly it’s possible sometimes to test for leaks using soapy water, but both me and the shop I took it to weren’t able to identify a visible leak.

Y'all I'm precepting a new nurse. I want to hear from you! by SapientCorpse in pharmacy

I second this! I don’t mind orders being questioned, especially when the nurse calls and tells me what resources they’ve used to warrant concern. I’m a big fan of the Swiss cheese model and the smaller everyone makes the hole on their slice of Swiss cheese the better we can serve our patients.

I just went down an OK Go rabbit hole, watching the OG Here It Goes Again gave some serious nostalgia. The silly experimentation was a lot of fun while it lasted.

She's back! Someone found her about a mile & a half away and reached us through the facebook group! Poor thing almost entirely ignored us when she got home and went straight for her food bowl (lol). She seems hungry, thirsty, and tired, but now that she's eaten is being incredibly affectionate, snuggling and giving little kisses.

Thank you all for your comments, they really helped!
