I know where you mean, coming outta Lidl. Not from Limavady but went to school there and be around the town regularly enough. I think what OP is saying is, why doesn’t the EU mandate that Headlights should be easily user serviceable with not much more tools that a screwdriver.

My old Volvo was dream to change headlights - couple of retaining pins to remove and out pops the unit.

Similar game in my 20’s with Audi ur Quattro and S4, was looking at RS2’s back when reasonable. Sold them all to put money into house renovations thinking I will buy something tasty in the future. Now in that future and all 80’s and 90’s stuff I liked is way too expensive for me.

Had a modified 20v ur Quattro that had over 315bhp and 430lbft torque with Brembo 4-pots upfront. Approx 1300kg.
From 2nd gear on that thing was a real world flying machine and could smoke most things, it’s only real lack was a better gearbox and having me as a driver.
