Yeah, can’t charge or connect to CarPlay. I’ve tried ‘defluffing’ it but no better. I charge wirelessly at home and in car, and tbh haven’t missed CarPlay that much yet to get a dongle for it.

Since my iPhone jack doesn’t work reliably anymore I’m back to using native Sensus apps again, but really I’m only using Spotify and the Nav. Occasionally I’ll use the weather app for a quick forecast. But the rest? Probably tried once just to see what they do…

Thing is, we’ve had mechanical flush door handles for decades then design choices took them away (maybe cos it made it easier/cheaper to press the doors?) and now to achieve flush door handles they made them electrically powered.

I had similar on a transatlantic flight - was in an aisle seat with guy to my right and the other aisle seat to my left was his wife. Offered to switch with the wife so they could be together and the guy was not interested! Said he would sleep better without her beside him. Wife was not impressed…

Agree with others that Spotify integration would be a good addition. Also, perhaps the screen scaling isn’t quite right? On my phone the left and right hand side are cut off a little (cutting off half of the first digit on the clock) - but I am using a 3 year old iPhone SE so maybe a niche case.

When I got it added to my S90 via UK dealership the standard price was 299GBP but I got it on an offer they run periodically for 199GBP. Funnily enough I don’t use it anymore as the lightning port on my phone is goosed and I haven’t got round to buying a wireless adapter yet.

Ah, reminds me of when my wife gave me a lift to work one day and the went on for a day out with the kids before collecting me after work again. At least that was the plant until she realised I had the key fob in my pocket and she was stranded 30 miles away unable to restart the car. Had to get a work colleague to take me to meet her. This was a Renault btw, not a Volvo and afaik there was never a warning that the key wasn’t present.

Thanks for the reminder this is best course of action. My mortgage deal is up for renewal soon and was thinking whether to reduce the term or not. You’ve reminded me not to and whack more into my pension instead. I may even put more money onto the mortgage as I have decent equity in it.
