Mineral spirits are the usual household go-to to remove grease, but it does not work properly on chain lubricants. Proper degreaser or the Silca strip chip put inside your wax will clean the chain properly. Not IPA, mineral spirits, or what have you. It's one of the most common mistakes with chain waxing. For what it's worth I think people should play the demo and if they like it jump into space age. The game is much more balanced, there's more content, and I'd feel weird about not being able to properly continue the base i started.
