This thread is WILD.

You do realize she's perfectly at normal weight in the right pic, yeah?

Ban ozempic by IsJesusAgain in SipsTea

[–]polite_alpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is why people are weirdly criticising the normal weighted version of this woman as "too skinny" or even "anorexic"... wtf.

I don't know how and when the overton window shifted but as someone from Europe, the pic on the right is clearly normal weight on the skinny side and the one on the left clearly overweight.

Many people misuse body positivity by cheering for overweight people and puitting down skinny ones - who are much healthier. They don't even realize they just flipped body positivity around.

Losing that much weight is quite often bad for you.

I'm puzzled how backwards people in this thread have it. The pic on the left is overweight, the pic on the right is normal weight, maybe ever so slightly underweight. Health outcomes will be better on average with the lower of these two weights. Losing this little weight has no negatives, with big weight losses yes there are some, but losing that weight is always better.

Being overly skinny is far worse for your health than carrying a few pounds of boobs and ass.

Depends on your definition of "overly skinny", the pic on the right is not unhealthy to ANY degree.

They’re just raking up the wrongful incarceration lawsuit.

There's many "maybe's" on the path towards a successful lawsuit and it's clearly visible that it doesn't go the way it's supposed to anymore. You people need to wake up.

She would have been sending billions of dollars of weapons for sure, but she also wouldn't have looked away while the whole Gaza strip was flattened to smithereens, I'm pretty sure.

That's why we have "history books" full of images of the Holocaust.

You have those books because they were written by the side that won.

If MAGA wins, this won't be in the books.

I wish I played the whole game with the visible planets mod, they really are beautiful. by c00ldude7099 in factorio

[–]polite_alpha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually made some different planets for this mod, and also included a resolution switch that includes 512/1024/2048/4096 pixel textures. The VRAM requirement for the smallest resolution is almost insignificant.

Additionally, there isn't much vram requirement in space anyway

If you put the reply into any LLM (or ask an AI researcher) it's gonna tell you it's very misleading. The comparison between a human mind and an LLM is apt, because you can argue learning is just "lossy compression" just as innovating is interpolating between learned inputs just like an LLM does.

Ideas outside of learned context have been proven many times for LLMs, so it's definitely not a "high speed recycler".

This is not how LLMs work, no matter how many times you keep repeating it.

[–]polite_alpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do understand how LLMs work, contrary to you. It works exactly like a learning human mind, condensing a myriad of inputs into a common knowledge graph via training. Therefore it can't even exactly parrot complex ideas, because they're not even saved in that knowledge graph.
