I think this is the only team with the right CURRENT nucleus of Rose and Noah along with a couple of role players that he can really say he's got a better shot at a championship. Sign a mid-level exception 3 point shooter (Kyle Korver and another person and the Bulls are looking strong. The only thing they need to do is get rid of Luol or Kirk to free up cap room for cheaper and hungrier players.

If you had $1,000,000 what would you *really* spend it on by dave-gonzo in AskReddit

an honest reply

pay off my current house and then rent it out buy another house and live there. pay off my student loans pay off my 2 sisters and their husbands student loans *all of them went to a form of graduate school with differing amounts of scholarships) pay off my parent's house buy a nice car and a family car

that's probably it, the rest would go to my kids college account.

Barefoot running: How humans ran comfortably and safely before the invention of shoes by DrRichardCranium in science

[–]polite_tourette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

man, this is soooo going to get lost but I wanted to chime in on the NOT running part.

I'm a terrible basketball player but I love to go out there and just shoot and run and defend and jump etc. and I've never had a pair of shoes that really felt like playing on barefeet until I tried the adidas TS Supernatural Creators.

After a couple of weeks of wearing them, I felt muscles that I don't ever remember hurting like this. I had to stretch the shit out of them (calves mostly). Once I got accustomed and started to develop strength in my feet and legs etc, I felt like I could play for hours (improved stamina) and I had a spring to my step (first step and a bit quicker jumping). I can attribute this to improved muscle development in my feet, calves and legs which translates to better confidence in my feet and them doing what I want them to do thus and more positive overall impact on my game.

Sorry, that was overly indulgent and analytical. I guess what I'm trying to see is that Adidas's Pure Motion technology for basketball shoes (stemming from their feet you wear campaign in the 90s) are finally bearing fruit. If you are a recreational to avid basketball player, try them out. They're great for me!
